Oasis Swindon: Multi-Purpose Venue
Swindon’s Oasis Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose venue suited to a variety of events, including weddings, concerts, and corporate events.
About Oasis Swindon
Reputed to have inspired Liam Gallagher to name his band ‘Oasis’ when he saw the name on a poster, the Oasis Leisure Centre’s Main Hall is equipped to host concerts of up to 3,000 people (standing), and has become a popular venue for touring bands.
The Oasis is a highly flexible venue and can accommodate weddings, conferences, product launches, fashion shows, art exhibitions, auctions, and many other events. It is well-known for its iconic glass dome which sits above the Lagoon Pool, adding a quirky and modern feel to the building.
Thanks to its impressive size - a seating capacity of 1,620 people, and the space for 90 tables, the Main Hall will add an air of extravagance to any event, whether it’s a wedding or a corporate event. Its large stage stands at 40ft x 24ft x 4ft high, and the room’s hanging bars can take loads of up to 4.2 tonnes.
The Oasis also has enough parking spaces for 400 cars.
