Wellsprings Leisure Centre is a modern building opened in 2004.

The venue has the capacity to hold all kinds of events from large exhibitions to a sell out crowds for Jimmy Carr. Wellsprings also runs a very successful Christmas party programme with 6 parties in December, providing a sit down meal for 500 people with themed entertainment. 

Wellsprings Leisure Centre also hosts variety of sporting events including South West trampoline competitions, Acrobatic competition, Majorettes, Roller Derby matches. The venue was also the home of the Taunton Tigers Basketball team who played in the semi professional nation Basketball league.     

In 2016 Wellsprings Leisure Centre hosted Russell Howard’s charity comedy evening which sold out in 48hrs and raised £24,000 for Charity to stand against violence. 


Wellsprings Leisure Centre hosts a number of Exhibition events annual including celebrities such as Jimmy White, Steven Davies, John Virgo and Ronnie O’Sullivan as well as historically hosting Stictly Come Dancing tour with Ian Waite, Camilla Dallerup, Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace.

Wellsprings Leisure appeared on Sky Sport during the very first the Darts Premier League with a sell out crowd of 1,000.

The Wellsprings Leisure Centre regularly hosts events such as:
